E&I Manager, Egyptian LNG
Mohamed is an Electric Engineer and has over 28 years of experience in the instrumentation field. He stepped into the O&G industry in 1995 in the Gulf Suez of Petroleum CO. (GUPCO) which was a Major crude oil and gas producer in Egypt. In 2004 he joined the starting Egyptian LNG which is the second Liquified Natural Gas facility in Egypt “JV with Shell, Petronas, EGAS and Total”.
Mohamed took part in many projects as the Automation of October and Ramadan offshore Fields “Gulf of Suez” In 1998, the SAKARA platform SCADA system design. And the transition of Egyptian LNG from the project to the production phase.
Currently, Mohamed is the Electric and Instrumentation Manager, of the Maintenance Department in Egyptian LNG responsible for day-to-day activities as well as short and long-term maintenance plans.
