Mohammed Fahad Al-Otaibi is currently serving as Operations Manager LNG, KIPIC Al-Zour Terminal, Kuwait, for the ‘Operational Preparedness’ of Kuwait’s first LNG import terminal.
He is a graduate of Petroleum Engineering from Kuwait University in 1999 and has 23 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with the distinction of serving as Team Leader of ‘The Operation Technical Services (OTS) team, Team Leader of ‘The Production Operations’ (PO) team, of Kuwait Oil Company - South East Kuwait (KOC-SEK), amongst many others.
Mohammed is intimately associated with the development and execution of the LNGI’s organizational structure and the preparation of a ‘one-stop’ business manual for all the stakeholders. In addition, he is instrumental in formulating the O&M Contract Strategy and implementation, with an emphasis on meeting the requisite Kuwaitization through a rigorous training program. He is responsible for the Development and Tendering of the Associated Service Contracts for Manpower and Equipment. He is an active participant in the Company’s digitization project, which will allow the new company to expedite the new technologies in ERP and MOM.

Omar Alabouh is a highly skilled and accomplished Mechanical Engineer with 10 years of experience in maintenance, project coordination, and design optimization. He has worked in various roles, including Mechanical Engineer at the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Rotating Maintenance Engineer at Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), and Project Coordination Engineer at Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC).
Currently, he holds the position of Senior Rotating Equipment Maintenance Engineer at KIPIC. Omar Alabouh has a strong background in operating and enhancing power plant facilities and water desalination systems, managing maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, coordinating projects with multiple parties, and contributing to engineering and mechanical design. He has certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP). Omar Alabouh has published a letter on optimization and has been recognized for his contributions to step-less capacity control for reciprocating compressors. He is driven by innovation and actively participates in proposing ideas for streamlining employee access and spare parts management.
